On Wednesday 2nd October we held our Open Evening event for prospective families to come along and see our school and all we have to offer. If you were unable to attend, our main presentation is available to download as a PDF
Our next open event will be our Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 7th November 6-8pm for current Yr11 students.
Our next Yr6 Open Evening will be in October 2025 for the September 2026 intake.
Typical timings for our October Open Evening are as follows:
Doors open at 6:30pm, where there will be an opportunity for you to tour the school and view a range of interesting activities, which will give you a flavour of what life is like at Cambourne Village College. Many of our current pupils will be available to show you some of the work that they do. Scan our QR code to access our Open Evening quiz sheet when you arrive, and try to find answers to the questions as you go around the school.
There will also be a talk in the Performance Hall from the Principal Lynn Mayes.
If you attend The Vine Inter-Church or Jeavons Wood Primary Schools, you are invited to attend the 7:15pm talk. Please arrive at the Performance Hall at 7pm for a prompt start at 7:15pm.
If you attend Monkfield Park and Hardwick and Cambourne Community Primary Schools, you are invited to attend the 8pm talk. Please arrive at the Performance Hall at 7:50pm for a prompt start at 8pm. Please allow time to tour the school prior to attending this talk, the school will be closed following this final presentation.
For anyone who does not attend one of our feeder schools, please attend the 8pm talk.
Parents – please be aware that our approach road can become congested and car parking is always difficult on this very busy evening. Please walk or cycle, using the pedestrian access via Swansley Lane, wherever possible.
