Dear Parents and Carers
This has been a busy week with a successful school visit returning from Aachen, Germany, on Monday; school photographs for Years 7 and 11; our open evening, and a training day for staff on Thursday, with the focus on training about adolescent mindsets and the teenage brain – it was a fascinating day.
Open Evening
On Wednesday it was a delight to welcome pupils and families from our Year 6 catchment schools to our Open Evening. Many of our current students attended to help show the many visitors around, and to demonstrate their learning in the different subject departments. We’ve received lots of positive feedback about the event and above all, about the enthusiasm and inspiration of our student helpers, so please pass on this praise if your child was helping in any way.
Lunchtime Catering
Our caterers, Pabulum, are introducing a new range of dishes to their lunchtime menus. These have been well-received by the pupils and details are available on the link on the front of the bulletin.
Free School Meals
Please remember that it is a quick and easy process to see if your child is eligible for free school meals, which brings a range of other benefits also for your child.
