Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you to all those who attended the Year 8 Parent Consultation yesterday afternoon. We hope you continued to find the time informative and helpful. As ever we do encourage you all to fill in the questionnaire here: 2024 Year 8 Parent Questionnaire (office.com). Feedback is always appreciated and is taken on board to continually improve these events.

We have welcomed our Spanish exchange students from Zaragoza this week, so many thanks to all our host families. We hope you are enjoying your time together, especially if the weather improves!

With all the wet weather we’ve been having this month, I’d like to recommend that if your child has PE and it looks like the day is going to be wet or they are playing a sport that is going to get them muddy, please remind them to bring in their school uniform to change into after their PE lessons. This ensures that the pupils will have something dry to change into without being muddy and wet for the rest of the school day.  

Performances of Beauty and the Beast start next Wednesday evening in the Coates Theatre. We have some highly talented students here and the standard of the show, as usual, looks incredible. If you haven’t booked your tickets yet, there is still time. Evening performances are scheduled for Wednesday 6^th, Thursday 7^th, Friday 8^th and Saturday 9^th of March, each starting at 7pm.
