Parent Bulletin 13.12.2024
13th December 2024
This week's bulletin is available here.
Dear Parents and Carers
First of all, I’d like to say a big thank you to all the pupils and staff who were involved in our Christmas concert last night. All of our pupils (including some Sixth Form students too), performed incredibly well and to get the whole audience singing along with them too. Everyone enjoyed the performances and left feeling in a very positive (and Christmassy) mood! A huge congratulations to all involved.
Our Christmas Appeal for 2024 has been launched. This is an appeal to provide some extra support over the December break for our families whose children have free school meals. If you would like to make a donation to this, it would be very much appreciated, and you can find a link on Parent Pay under ‘Active Payment Items’. Thank you in advance if you feel that you can donate.
The last day of term is next Friday, school will finish at 1:30pm. That day is also a non-uniform day, but we would ask for a minimum £1 donation from each pupil (if they choose to not wear their uniform that day), which will be donated to Emmaus, a local charity, dedicated to tackling homelessness. Your child can either bring cash into school or you can this year, also pay through Parent Pay.
We have sent emails to all pupils to remind them to return overdue library items. Please have a check at home over the weekend, and return items that are finished with, renew items that are still being read or if there are any queries, come and speak to library staff.
Wishing everyone a lovely weekend
